INTERGALACTIC FAT BABY SPICE
Just a reminder that sometimes I’m really cute.
Vintage leather jacket- stolen off metal head boy after drunken encounter… I swear I’ve tried to give it back at least 12 times, he wants me to keep it. Not complaining.
Dress- originally from Ross Dress for Less, but I DIY galaxy printed it two years ago for my nebula Halloween costume (so much glitter)
Knee highs- Nordstrom
Mary Jane chunky heels- Fred Meyer.
I really wish I had done my hair and make up this day. I eventually was nice enough to still give that metal head boy his jacket back, which was a mistake. Never give back a real ass leather jacket if you don’t have to.
I always see these body comparative posts on this site and I decided to make one. Time to learn a little art history guys.
The figure on the left is called Venus of Willendorf. It is said that this figure is that 'Venus' pleasantly satisfied certain assumptions at the time about the primitive, about women, and about taste. Some suggest that her corpulence would represent high status in a hunter-gatherer society, and that beside her obvious fertility she could be an emblem of security and success.
The above statement is completely different compared to how society views fat women today. I wanted to shine light on this. Fat people matter, Fat people are beautiful, they are important, they deserve to be represented, to be talked about in a positive manner and here’s my contribution to that.

Literally the most influential and inspring piece of art I learned about in two semesters of history of Western art.
My lumpy body looks damn good in horizontal stripes.

I did this to my friend’s hair, I’m pretty sure she hated it. I love this.
